This is an fan site for The Parlotones. This fan is not alone in loving the Parlotones, they are the greatest band to come out of South-Africa, and by far the most popular.
So, this site is not affiliated with the Parlotones. It’s a fan site. For other fans.

I have a question to the creater of this blog: Are you a South African fan? If not, from where are you?
Hi Hanna
I am a South African fan, based in South-Africa.
And you, where are you based?
So glad there is a fan site for The Parlotones, well done on being so proactive! They really are a great band and we are seriously addicted!
>Good day – I would like to get this message out to the parlotones regarding the KFC box that rocks promotion can you assist?

Are the Parlotones coming back to Vienna?
An Austrian “South African”
Brad
This February and March, BestNewBands.com will be giving away three pairs of tickets and three chances to meet South African chart-toppers The Parlotones in New York City, Portland (Oregon) and Los Angeles. In each city, fans will have the chance to win a meet & greet and photo opportunity with The Parlotones during their sound check before the show, as well as tickets to the show afterwards.
Says a source for the band: “The Parlotones were honored and excited to be voted among the best new bands of 2010 in the poll at BestNewBands.com and are happy to offer the opportunity to get a closer look at the band for the fans that supported them.”
The first give-away runs Feb. 24, the second give-away runs March 17 and the third runs March 21 for shows at The Mercury Lounge in New York City on March 8, Portland’s Doug Fir Lounge on March 27 and The Viper Room in L.A. March 30, respectively. Fans will be asked to comment on contest posts explaining why they’re most deserving of the tickets and opportunity to meet the band, and challenged to spread the word about the contest to friends via social media.
Winners will be announced on BestNewBands.com one week after each contest post goes live.
The Parlotones are a great band, but their web strategy is pathetic! They don’t even have a decent website with REAL content! It’s a pity…
Hi. I am a wedding photographer and I would like to use a song of the Parlotones as background music to a slide show I want to create of recent weddings I did. The slideshow will appear on my blog and the song I want to use is “Beautiful”. Do you know where I can get permission to use the song? Thanks so much
